With this power, she has the ability to purify anything that she touches, one example would be the Shikon Jewel. She can also use bolts of spiritual energy purification with her hands and create an orb of light with it to destroy and purify any demon from any distance.
» Archery: Coming from an era of endless wars, Kikyo has fully mastered the power and ability of archery. She can easily shoot enemies from long or short distances and has an uncanny power and ability to strike demons from much longer distances.
» Arrow of Sealing: "The Arrow of Sealing" is a sacred arrow that places a demon under a spell of eternal sleep. It is said that these arrows are meant to seal demons that are utterly invincible. It is used to lure and purify demons of a specified type when the demons climb to the top.
» Reflection Powers & Abilities: With this power and ability Kikyo infuses her spiritual power into her longbow, which will relfect any oncoming demonic energy back at the demon or person. It is very similar to Inuyasha's Backlash Wave.
» Shikigami: She is able to create human-like Shikigami that she uses to perform various tasks for her. An example of these Shikigami would be her soul collectors.
» Soul Collectors: These serpent-like creatures collect the souls of the recently departed to sustain Kikyo's body. They can also steal the souls of the living making them her mindless slave.
» Healing: Kikyo is a extremely skilled and experienced healer and is able to treat and save even those on the brink of death. She is able to see the beings from the Netherworld and can dispose of them with a single touch.
» Teleportation: Kikyo has been shown to have the power to teleport although she is rarely seen using it, she can only teleport to distances that are not extremely far.
» Spiritual Immobilization: Kikyo is able to stun someone and make them invisible to everyone else but her, she does this by touching someone with two of her index fingers .
» Eyesight: Kikyo is to see things that are or may seem invisible to the human eye.
» Cleansing Butterflies: With out having to physically touch, Kikyo can summon golden Shikigami butterflies with a simple breath that is able to cleanse and purify any evil.

Clouds rolled over head in a dark array of patterns. In the silence in the air, a clear sign of the Storm brewing high in the skies. The lands for once seemed empty, to calm. The humans has scurried away to hide in their safe village's, Demons had all but hidden away deep in their caves and other hide outs. All but seemingly one.
Pale skin seemed to fall grey under the dark clouds over head, the humans head was shadowed by her hair as it fell in a cascading wave around her. Despite the chilly air, and the coming storm, the undead girl sat admist the flowers, her Shinidamachu could be seen flowing around her. Waiting for their master to take cover, though she wouldn't.
Kikyo was the young woman's name, Once a beautiful and highly respected Priestess. Now only a cold shell of her former self, Left to wither away lonely and cold. Not even could she feel the warm pump of her heart in her chest, now it was like she was hollow and empty. A sigh rattled her frame, and her eyes opened slowly. It had been a few weeks since she had seen Inuyasha and his friends, and once again she was feeling her Love for him creeping up on her once more.
Even though she had hated him for so long, for something that damned Naraku had done, It was hard to see him in a different light. How she wanted to hold him tight in her arms, whisper 'I love you' and everything be alright. But she couldn't, and that was something she knew deep down inside. He had Kagome, and she was nothing but a shell. Empty and Lifeless.
Thunder boomed over head, and she gazed up at the dark clouds. A single rain drop fell upon her, Running down the side of her face like a tear. Slowly she got to her feet and slid her sandals on, Before heading back to the village. There was a young boy who was sick, It was about time for her to tend to him anyways.
