Like all youkai, Kouga does have the ability to turn into their true animal form. His is a giant black wolf, or smaller should he see fit, but rarely ever uses his true form.
Shikon shards:
Kouga has a Shikon shard embedded in his right arm, and one on both of his legs. The power of the shards vastly boosts his speed (he becomes a mere blur when running) and the striking force of his arm. He fights like a wild thing, with punches and kicks, and makes good use of his superhuman speed.
Weapons:
His one and only real weapon is his katana, lovingly nicknamed 'Zuki's Bane', and is rarely used, but is strapped to his side at all times.[/justify]
