These are the fields and plains of Feudal Japan. Many of these areas are rich in vegetation, and because of the flat areas and lack of rocks, you're an open target for many enemy attacks.

While not plentiful, the marshlands are quite dangerous. Keep an eye out for quicksand and things that lurk in the murky waters.

Naturally heated springs spread across the land. Some are rich in minerals, making their healing powers quite coveted.

On hot summer days, the beaches offer a nice cool place to cool down.

Hundreds of demons make the forests their homes. They are dark and dense, and you'll need to watch your back every second.

The many volcanoes and geysers of Japan can be quite dangerous, and it's never a good idea to hang around them.

This is the village where Kaede resides. The bone eater's well and the forest of Inu Yasha are also located here.

Togenkyo is a large city built near present-day Tokyo. But they say in the cliffs above the city, there lives and evil Senin, and a Nimenka tree...

A small village exists at the base of Mount Hakurei-- the former home of Suikotsu.

A normal human village-- unless Youreitaisei is training someone. Strange things tend to happen to the villagers then.

This is the village of the demon slayers.

This former temple is now home to Goryomaru and his strange young followers. Demons beware, they possess very powerful weapons.

Hidden deep in the forest, there is a community of women who have lost their families to famine and war. Men beware-- within the Temple of Kannon, there is a vengeful deity controlling these women, turning them against males.

Here in the Eastern Lands, behind a beautiful waterfall, once lived Kouga's pack. But it's empty now.

In the far, far North, high up in the mountains, lives the pack of Tsuzuki's father Kiba. The weather is often harsh, and life is hard, making his pack one of the smallest.

Very close to Kiba's territory, live the pack of his son Kage. They're a small bachelor pack, and quite lax when it comes to the boundry.

Located twelve miles to the north-east of Kaede's Village, the Bat Demon Caves are numerous. In addition to being mostly dark, there are hundreds of large, gray rocks, as well as countless bats of various sizes.

The Oni's Head castle is a small, inhabited fortress with a rather interesting history-- it is said that the head of a horrid Ogre is buried beneath the structure, and that it's spirit still haunts the grounds...

The newly refurbished Castle remade by the revived Naraku swarming with small demon soldiers, and covered in miasma as well to home to Naraku and his new minions.

Aisuru Manor is a large estate owned by none other than the incubus Varjo. Though he isn't often at home, he will on occasion bring women back to his manor-- hence the mirrored ceilings, hundreds of rose bushes, and rather secluded location.

InuKimi's castle in the clouds. It is a very large, grand manor, only accessible to those who can fly. On the front steps is a large chair, presumably her throne.

These are the castles and manors located in Feudal Japan, thresholds of their time.

The home of Inu no Taisho (and now Sesshomaru) is an impressive old palace, built in the traditional Japanese style, but very well fortified against invaders.

The cave in which the sword smith Tōtōsai lives and works. Maybe if you're polite enough, he'll make a weapon for you.

The ancestral grave of the Yourouzoku tribe, the wolves graveyard is rocky, desolate, and dangerous. Beware-- the area is protected by a three headed wolf guardian, who is nearly indestructible and capable of controlling fire.

The gorge where Ryukotsusei was pinned by Inu Yasha's father, then later killed by Inuyasha.

Midoriko's tomb is the cave where the Shikon Jewel was created. It was formed when Midoriko's soul merged with a group of demons. The cave is not far from the Demon Slayer's Village.

The Shichinin Grave is a large stone, now split in two. It once held the souls of the dreaded Shichinin-tai, before the seal was broken.

This misty valley is home to scores of very large and very dangerous demon porcupines.

The Ogre's cliff is really a great Oni, turned to stone and set into a cliff side -- be careful though, as the presence of the shikon no tama could cause the ogre to reanimate.

This is a sacred mountain that purifies demons who step onto it's soil.

This is Mount Iriai. It is said that the sunset is the most beautiful on it's peak. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, this would be a good place to start.

Mount Azusa is a mystical mountain, protected by a barrier. Any impure attempting to reach the top will forever be running up stairs, and those who can pass must also face the mountain's spirit.

Farther North than Mt. Hakurei and Mt. Iriai, Mount Miyuuki is always cold and snowy. Much of the lower section of the mountain is covered in dense forest.

Mount Fuji is Japan's tallest mountain. The landscape is quite beautiful, and there are many hot springs located on and around the mountain.

These are the mountains of Feudal Japan. Some have high peaks, others not so much. With the drops though, they can be rather dangerous, be sure to watch your footing.

Nagasakijima is the only Japanese Island where trading with the Western world takes place-- and only with a select few Dutch ships. Once a year. But if you're lucky, you might be able to get your hands on a gun.

Hijiri Island is not far off the coast near Mount Hakurei-- the island is covered in beautiful flowers, and, thanks to holy artifacts in it's shrine, as pure as the mountain itself.

Here are the many islands that dot the coastline of Japan.

This is the border between life and death. It was the grave of InuTaisho before he was resurected.

The Meidou, or Path to Hell, is another way to enter the underworld besides crossing the border. However, one must posses a Meidou-seki in order to open the path.

Every fifty years, a mysterious island appears off the coast of Japan. It is home to four gods, and rumored to be inhabited by hanyou children...
